SUMMARY STATEMENT:
In March, 2009, Bureau of Justice Assistance notified law enforcement jurisdictions throughout
were automatically eligible for Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) funds through the

error. However, the City was again notified in December, 2009 that the funding was still available

Authorize the submission of an Edward Byrne Justice Assistance Grant through the American Recovery
and Revitalization Act and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
