SUMMARY STATEMENT:
At the December 17, 2009 City Council meeting, staff presented a variety of options for economic
development activities in FY10. The Council has reviewed several documents, all attached:
1. memo from Lindley Kirkpatrick, dated September 18, including a proposal from John Blaye;
2. presentation from the McCall Area Merchants Association on September 24;
3. presentation from the Idaho Department of Commerce on November 23;
4. a memo from Council Member Delaney, dated December 3;
5. memo from Michelle Groenevelt, provided in the packed for the December 17 meeting; and
6. memo from Lindley Kirkpatrick, dated December 17.
Based on the Council's previous discussions, the attached draft letter regarding UPRED funding has been
prepared for the Council's consideration. The Council deferred further action on FY10 Economic
Development funding until the January 14 meeting.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Provide direction regarding FY10 Economic Development activities.
