SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Public Library Board of Directors has requested that the current City Resolution 07-12, adopted
August 23, 2007 be amended to add additional fee schedules. The additional fees cover new services
offered by an upgraded copy/printer installed at the Library. A fee of $0.50 per page will be assessed for
color copies or prints to offset the cost of paper, toner, and administrative costs and a fee of $2.00 will be
assessed for each document scanned for administrative costs and staff time.
The use of the proposed fee formula creates a flexible mechanism to recover costs associated with Library
programs. When programs are changed, deleted or added, staff will not have to come to City Council for
adoption of new program fees.
Attached are Resolution 07-12 and the proposed Resolution 10-6.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Conduct the Public Hearing on establishing additional Library fees.
2. Adopt Resolution 10-6 to establish additional Library fees and authorize the Mayor to sign all
necessary documents.
