SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The applicant has submitted a Conditional Use Permit application for a new Drive-Thru facility at 507 N.
3rd Street. The proposed drive-thru is located on the south side of the existing building and would be
accessed via 3rd Street and exited onto Colorado Street. Numerous improvements are required to bring the
property into conformance with the McCall City Code including landscaping, lighting, and sidewalks.
At the January 5, 2010 meeting, the McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commission recommended this
application for denial by the Council based upon a lack of conformance with Conditional Use Permit
criteria of approval #9, due to internal circulation patterns, pedestrian conflicts, and related concerns.
This item was noticed in the Star News as a Public Hearing; however the applicant did not send out the
mailing notices as required. Therefore the Public Hearing is Cancelled until February 25, 2010 at which
time all public notice requirements will be met.
The complete land use file is available for review during normal working hours in the Community
Development Department located at the McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall, Idaho 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
This item has been cancelled due to improper notice. It will be rescheduled for February 25, 2010
