SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Annual Summer Music Festival at Roseberry/The McCall Folklore Society is requesting permission to
hang a highway banner to advertise the event which takes place on July 15, 16, & 17, 2010. It will be held
at Roseberry. They have requested to hang the banner from July 1 through July 19, 2010.
The Public Works Department is in agreement with these dates at this time. If we receive an increase in
banner hanging requests we may need to shorten the hanging times.
McCall City Code Reads:
3.9.04: TEMPORARY SIGNS: The following signs shall be permitted anywhere within the planning
jurisdiction and shall not require a permit:
(D) Street Banner Signs: Street banner signs advertising a public entertainment or event, if ,after the
submittal and approval by the council of an application, and only for locations designated by the
administrator, during and for fourteen(14) days before and seven (7) days after the event.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve request to hang Highway Banner for The Annual Summer Music Festival at Roseberry/The McCall
Folklore Society.
