SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Attached is a Grant Agreement Program Number: FAA8MYL and City Resolution covering one half of the
grant match required under FAA Airport Improvement Program (AIP) Grants 3-16-0023-015/017/018
which paid for snow removal equipment and taxiway Environmental Assessment costs.
The Idaho Transportation Department Division of Aeronautics grant is in the amount of $7,246 which the
City also provided $7,246. These funds of $14,492 provided the 5% grant match for the total of $289,840
in expenditures. AIP 15 and 17 have been fully drawn down and the grants closed. AIP 18 has been
partially drawn down and will fund the remainder of the taxiway EA project.
With the Idaho Transportation Department Division of Aeronautics grant, the State will have covered one
half of the required grant match for all of the AIP grants that have been awarded to date. The State Grant
Agreement and City Resolution have been agreed to by the City in the past and are attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the attached Grant Agreement with Idaho Transportation Department Division of Aeronautics
and the City Resolution10-10 authorizing the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
