Member Hamilton introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption.
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99-77
RESOLUTION LEVYING TAXES
FOR 1999 PAYABLE IN 2000
WHEREAS, the City Council has prepared a budget for the operations of the City of Medina for
the 2000 calendar year, containing appropriations out of the General Fund of $ 2,102,828; and
WHEREAS, the anticipated revenues for the 1999 calendar year, including Homestead and
Agricultural Aid(HACA), is $ 1,921,244; and
WHEREAS, a Truth in Taxation hearing was held on December 6, 1999;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, County of
Hennepin, Minnesota, that a property tax levy of $ 1,075,884 (not including HACA) be levied upon
the taxable property in the City of Medina for taxes payable in 2000 and herein authorize Paul
Robinson, City Clerk -Treasurer for the City of Medina to certify this resolution to the County
Auditor of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Johnson and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
