Member Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.99-78
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DONATIONS
WHEREAS, The following people and business have donated the following amounts to the
City's Cabin Social, and;
Glaefke, Howard $25
Schmit, Barbara $100
Culligan $100
Baird, Donald $1,000
Alworth, Peter $300
Schmidt, Greg $400
Musich, Ron $250
Lemond, Greg $500
Marx, W.A. $1,000
Kennedy & Graven $250
Woodridge Church $200
Koch, Barbara $1,000
Wolfe, Michael $50
Van De Ven, Martha $40
Anderson, Dorothy $500
Hamilton, John $50
Barbarossa, Robert $100
WHEREAS, Metro West Inspection has donated $10,000 to improvements around City
Hall and $5,000 to the fireworks for the Cabin Social, and;
WHEREAS, Hamel Fire Department Donated $ 50 to the Police Department and $5,000 to
the Hamel Legion Park, and;
WHEREAS, Hamel Lions donated $50,000 to the construction of a community building
and $30,000 to the tennis courts at Hamel Legion Park and $ 2,000 to repair the Hunter Lions Park
sign.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Medina
accept these donations and thank those who donated for their generous contributions to the City of
Medina.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Zietlow and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
