SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall entered into an agreement of Intent for Direct Sale with the United States Forest Service
for the purchase of a 6.396 parcel ("Riverview parcel") adjacent to city -owned property identified as
Riverfront Park. The purchase is partially funded by Land and Water Conservation Fund grant funds
($70,000) through the National Park Service, administered by the Idaho Department of Parks and
Recreation. A notice of final grant approval has been received by the City of McCall.
Attached are a cover letter and the documents provided by the USFS which are required to execute the
purchase of the property:
1) Purchase and Sale agreement;
2) Copy of quitclaim deed;
3) Original easement deed to Frontier Telecom;
4) Bill for collection
5) Federal Land Status report
6) Warrant Register
The documents have been reviewed by the City attorney.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement, the Easement to Frontier Telecom, and payment of the
$140,000 to USDA Forest Service and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
