RESOLUTION NO. 15-9109
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, DIRECTING AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO NEGOTIATE
THE TERMS OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CITY'S
CURRENT CABLE TV SERVICE PROVIDER FOR
ENHANCED SERVICES AND SUPPORT FOR OPA-TV;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, desires to
enhance the quality and services provided by Opa-TV; and
WHEREAS,The current contract has expired; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka directs the City
Manager to negotiate terms of an agreement with the City's current cable TV
provider that enhances the services and support for Opa-TV.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Commission of the City of Opa-locka directs and
authorizes the City Manager to negotiate the terms of an agreement with the City's
current cable TV provider to enhance the services and support for Opa-TV, and to
present the agreement to the Commission within 60 days of the date of this
resolution for approval.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
