SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Since 2008, the McCall Public Library has undergone a shelving replacement project to improve
accessibility for patrons. Most of the new shelving has been purchased by LOT funding.
The Library Director has indentified the need for five flights of shelving for the adult fiction section. Each
flight costs $4793. The total for five flights is $23,965.
The Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation is an Idaho foundation that makes grants in the areas of
healthcare, education, and projects in rural and underserved areas. A grant application will be prepared to
seek funds for the shelving, and the shipping costs will be from the 2010 Library budget.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve submission of a Laura Moore Cunningham Foundation grant application for library shelving
and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
