SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The applicant has submitted a Conditional Use Permit to open a new market in the existing structure at 324 W. Lake
Street (across Highway 55 from Rotary Park). The site improvements will include the remodel of the existing
structure, removal of the existing gas station sign, landscaping of the existing parking lot in front of the structure,
creation of a new parking lot to the south of the structure, as well as other landscaping improvements.
At the April 6, 2010 McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commission meeting, the Commission recommended this
application for approval by the City Council. The Commission also recommended that a second public hearing was
not necessary.
At the May 13, 2010 McCall City Council meeting, the Council continued the application to allow time for the
conditions of approval for the CUP to be modified to remove the requirement for sidewalks from the present
applicant.
Only the revised Findings and Conclusions which have been reviewed by the City Attorney have been provided in
this agenda packet. The complete land use file is available for review during normal working hours in the
Community Development Department located at the McCall City Hall, 216 East Park Street, McCall, Idaho 83638.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve CUP-10-02 subject to the presented Findings and Conclusions and authorize the Mayor to sign
all necessary documents.
