SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall was awarded federal aid funding through the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) to
construct 5 Public Transit Bus Shelters throughout the city.
The invitation to bid for the project was advertised on May 6 and May 13, 2010 in the Star News. Ten bid
packages were purchased by contractors during the bidding period. All sealed bids received by 12:00 pm
on May 20, 2010 were opened and publicly announced, that same day, at 1:30 pm in the Legion Hall.
All contract documents have been reviewed and approved by the City Attorney. A memo from staff and the
draft contract are attached.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Award the contract for Public Transit Bus Shelters to Richard Jordan and authorize the Mayor to sign
all necessary documents.
