In the interest of equity and simplicity of administration, all of the Ground Leases for the McCall Avenue Homes should be amended and restated. If approved by the Council, staff will contact the other home owners to amend their leases. Additionally, the covenants should be removed from all lots subject to the amended Ground Lease. If approved by the Council, staff will take the necessary steps to remove the covenants from the appropriate lots. Approve the Amended and Restated Ground Lease V3 for the McCall Avenue Homes and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents. 2. Direct Staff to contact all the lease holders with an offer to sign the new lease. 3. Direct the City Attorney to draw up a document that dissolves the covenants.
