RESOLUTION NO. 15-9114
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO FORWARD
FINANCIAL INFORMATION TO THE GOVERNOR OF THE
STATE OF FLORIDA; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION
OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Mayor and City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, has a
ongoing duty to provide the Governor of the State of Florida information concerning
its current financial condition; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and City Commission of the City of Opa-locka
desires to maintain compliance with its obligation to continue to provide updated
financial information to the Governor of the State of Florida.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The Mayor and City Commission of the City of Opa-locka,
Florida, hereby directs the City Manager to forward current financial information to
the Governor of the State of Florida;
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
