RESOLUTION NO. 15-9115
A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA,
REQUIRING A FINANCIAL RECOVERY PLAN BE
SUBMITTED TO GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF
FLORIDA BY JANUARY 14, 2016; PROVIDING FOR
INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The Mayor and City Commission of the City of Opa-locka, has a
duty to submit to the Governor of the State of Florida, a financial recovery plan; and
WHEREAS, The Mayor and City Commission of the City of Opa-locka,
Florida, desires to submit a financial recovery plan to the Governor of the State of
Florida by January 14, 2016.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The Mayor and City Commission of the City of Opa-locka,
Florida, hereby requires the submission of a financial recovery plan to the Governor
of the State of Florida by January 14, 2016;
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
