SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Mayor Bailey has proposed Code amendments to Title 3, Chapter 8, Chapter 2 and Chapter 11. The
proposed amendment to MCC 3.8.11 is to add paragraph (D) reiterate the development standards for
Accessory dwelling units. The proposed code amendment to Chapters 2 and Chapter 11 were prompted by
discussion at the July 8, 2010 City Council meeting concerning the Non -Conforming Chapter in the Code.
Mayor Bailey will introduce the amendments for a brief discussion. Depending on the outcome of the
Council discussion, Code amendments will be reviewed by staff and proceed to the Planning and Zoning
Commission for further discussion and a work session.
The proposed Code amendments are attached for the discussion.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the initiation of Code amendments, according to MCC 3.13.04, related to Accessory Dwelling
Development Standards and Non -Conforming Lots, Structures and Uses. Direct staff to schedule a work
session with the McCall Area Planning and Zoning Commission and/or City Council within 90 days.
