SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The City of McCall wishes to submit a grant application for an US Department of Transportation TIGER II
planning grant for improving SH55 from Krahn Lane to Warren Wagon Road in the amount of up to
$1,000,000. There are no matching fund requirements. If the City is awarded this grant, the funds would be
used for the planning and engineering design of SH 55 in McCall from Krahn Lane to Warren Wagon Road
to provide necessary pedestrian, bicycle and vehicular safety improvements, necessary utility and storm
water infrastructure, bridge evaluation, concrete curb, gutter and sidewalk, parking and roadway
improvements.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the submission of the grant application and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
