: RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
I,YNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
' ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
- UNINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY'OF LOS
ANGELES LYTNG ON THE NORTH SIDE OF 107TH STREET
'. AND WESTERLY OF ALAMEDA STREET (ALAMEDA STREET
ANNEXATION N0. 5-A).
� WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, by
Resolution No..65-j, adopted on the 5th day of January 1g65 duly
_ give notice and fix the 19th day of January 1g65 at the hour o£
_ 7:j0 p.m. in the Couneil Chambers of the City Hall, 11jj0 Bullis Road,
Lynwood, California, as the day, hour and place when and where any
' persons owning real propertv within the city,'who does not also own
property in the territory to be annexed, and having any objection to ',
the proposed annexation, might appear be£ore said City Council and
'show cause why such territory should not be annexed, and
� WHEREAS, said' Resolution No. 65-3 was published in the I
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-� I
lished iri the City of Lynwood, and
_ _ WHEREAS, said.public hearin�;�was held at"the day, hour and
place and the manner as set forth in said resolution No. 65-3 and
WHEREAS, no person owning real.propert� within the cit�* who
. does not also own proper.ty, in the territory to be annexed, appeared
before the City Council to show cause why such territor5r should not be
so annexed,,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council o£ the �
City of Lynwood as follows:
,' Section l. That the City Council does hereby approve o£
said proposed annexation of the unincorporated territor�t in the Count;�
o£ Los Angeles lying on the north side of 107th Street and wesLerly of
� ` -1-
Alameda Street in the County of Los Angeles, St.ate of California,
known as "Alameda Street Annexation No. 5-A," and more particularly
described in said Resolution No. 65-3.
