RESOLUTION NO. 15 -9121
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF THE FOLLOWING PROPERTIES IDENTIFIED
BY FOLIO NUMBERS: 08- 2128 - 004 -0440, 08- 2122 - 004 -0150, 08-
2122- 009 -0220, 08- 2122 - 009 -0222, and 08- 2122 - 009 -0210;
PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City owns the following surplus properties, identified by portfolio
numbers 08- 2128 - 004 -0440, 08- 2122 - 004 -0150, 08- 2122 - 009 -0220, 08- 2122 - 009 -0222, and 08 -2122-
009 -0210; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission desires to authorize the City Manager to sell the
above - detailed properties to the highest qualified bidder through an RFP process; and
WHEREAS, The City Commission believes that it is in the best interest of the City to
sell these properties in order to experience a financial benefit.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT DULY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA- LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference.
Section 2. The City Commission finds that it is in the best interest to issue an RFP
for the above - referenced properties.
Section 3. The City Commission hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue an RFP
for the above - referenced properties.
Section 4. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.

Staff Summary:
The City of Opa -locka owns surplus properties identified by folio numbers 08- 2122 - 004 -0150, 08- 2122 -009-
0220, 08- 2122 - 009 -0222, and 08- 2122 - 009 -0210 and is authorizing the City Manager to issue a Request for
Proposals for sale of the properties as a financial benefit to the City. The RFP will be advertised on the City's
website.
Proposed Action:
Staff recommends approval in the interest of business operations in the City.
