SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The McCall Urban Renewal Agency (MURA) is currently in the progress of constructing the 2010
Improvement Projects within the District. The Mill Street right of way is only 20 feet and through a series
of public meetings it was decided that this should remain a two-way street. City staff, the MURA chair, and
the design engineers worked extensively with the property owners, Travis Hatfield and Matt Hunter, and
business owners of Gravity Sports and Razzle Dazzle.
The goal is to make the area more pedestrian friendly which requires a sidewalk on the east side of Mill
Street to connect the parking lot to Pine Street. Therefore, a 10 ft. easement from Pines & Palms is required
for the sidewalk.
The City Attorney has reviewed and approved the easement agreement that will grant use of the property for
a public sidewalk.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the sidewalk easement between Pines & Palms and the City of McCall and authorize the Mayor to
sign all necessary documents.
