A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
OF THE C�UNTY OF LOS ANGELES TO PERMIT THE
REGISTRAR OF VO'I`ERS OF SAID COUNTY TO RENDER
SPECIFIED SERVICES TO THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
RELATING TO THE CONDUCT OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL
ELECTION TO BE HELD IN SAID CITY ON APRIL 14, 1964.
WHEREAS„ a general municipal election is to be held in
�he City of Lynwood on April 14, 1g64, and
WHERE�S, in the course of conduct of said election and.
in relation thereto, it will be necessary to mail sample ballots
and polling place card.s to the registered voters of the city, and.
it will facilitate such mailing if the Registrar of Voters of the
County of Los Angeles will imprint names and add.resses of the
registered voters of said city and the location of the polling
places, and insert said sample ballots and polling place cards into
envelopes, and.
WI all necessary supplies in performing this service
shall be approved by and furnished. to said Registrar of Voters by the
City of Lynwood, and.
WI�RE�S, all necessary expense in performing this service
shall be paid b�T the City of Lynwood.,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby resolve, determine, and order as f'ollows:
Section l. That it is deemed economical and satisfactory
�o the City Council of the City of Lynwood that the Registrar of
Voters of the Coun�y of Los Angeles imprint the names and ad.d.resses
of �he registered voters of' said city and location of polling places
on insert sheets furnished by the city, and insert said sample ballots
and pollin� place cards in mailing envelopes furnished. by the city.

Pursuant �o the provisions of Section 22003 of the Elections Code of
the State of California, this City Council hereby requests the Board.
of Supervisors of said County of Los Angeles to permit the Registrar
of Voters of said county to render such services to the city in con-
nection with the conduc� of said. election to be held on April 14, �g64,
Section 2. That the city shall reimburse the county in full
for the services performed., upon presentation to the city of a
properly approved bill from said county.
Section 3. That the City Clerk is hereby d.irected to
forward, without d.elay, to said Board of Supervisors and to said
Registrar of Voters a cer�ified copy of this resoluLion.
ADOPTED and APPROVED this 21st day of January 1964
