RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ABATE DRY AND DRYING
WEEDS ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF LAND IIV THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD
WI Chapter 13 4f ttze GoVernment Code, cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Aba�ement'�, proVides f'or abatement of dry and
drying weeds that constitute a public nuisance, and
TntHEREAS, it has been bx�ought to the attention of the
C�,ty Council of the City of Lynwood by the Superintendent of
Streets that there exists a public nuisa,nce on certai.n parcels of
la.n.d in the City of Lynwood, as hereinafter more particularly
described,
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of' Lynwood as fallaws :
l. That a gublic nuisance exists upon the parcels of
land, lots, or portions of lots set f'orth below:
Mod jeska Acres s Lots 5, 6, 9, 16, 25, 26 and 6�-.
Belle Vernon Acresi Lots 21 and 24 of Block 1,5.

2. The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to cause
said notices to be posted in the time, form, and manner required by law.
3. That the proceedin.gs for aforesaid work shall be taken
under an Act of the Legislature of the State of Califarnia �lesignated
as the Government Code, Chapter 13, Sections 39501 et seq cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement' ancl amendments thereto.
�. Notice is hereby given that on 'I`uesday, the 3rd day of
March Zg6�+ at the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City
Hall, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City of Lynwood, any and all persons
having any objections or protests to said progased work may appear
before saicl City Council a.nd show cause why said propo�ed work should
not be carried out in accordance with said Act.
