A RESOLUTION OF TKE CI`I`Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWO�D .�UTHORIZING TI-iE STATE DEPARTMENT
OF FINANGE TO MAKE A CENSUS ESTIMATE OF THE
CITY.
�HEREAS, it is felc in the public interest t-hat the
City of Lyn��vood be accurately informed as to the population of
the community, and
WHERE.AS, an official census estimate will result in a
revised revenue structure derived f'rom State collected in lieu
taxes, subventions and grants,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
`he City of Lynwood does hereby authorize the Calif'ornia State
Departmen� of Finance to prepare an official estimate of the
population of the city. All expenses incurred in the gathering of
necessary data for the estimate will be borne by the City of Lynwood..
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4t� d.ay of February, 1964.
