A RESOLUTION P.ASSING UPON OBJECTIONS, AND
DIRECTING THE SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO
�4B�TE THE NUISl�NCE OF DRY AND DRYING WEEDS
THAT EXIST ON CERTAIN PARCELS OF L�ND IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
Calif'ornia, did on the 4th day of' F'ebruary, 1964, adopt Resolution
No. 64-5 relating �o the abatement of dry and d.rying weed.s on certain
parcels of land. in the City of' Lynwood, and
WHEREAS, due notice was given �o des�roy such weeds by
posting "Notice to Des�roy Weeds" notices as required by law, and.
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed f'or the hearing of
protests and objections to said. matter, a hearing was duly held and
no written or oral objections were mad.e to the doing of said work,
and.
WHEREd�S, the City Council of' the City of Lynwood has con-
sidered all the facts and is fully informed in the matter, and they
have acquired jurisdiction to proceed and perform the work of' removal
of said nuisance.
NOW, THEREFORE� BE IT RESOLVED that the Superintend.ent of
Streets of the City of Lynwood be and he is hereby instructed to abate
the nuisance described in said. Resolution No 64-5 by having said
nuisances referred to removed., and he and. his assistants �re hereby
expressly authorized to enter upon private property for that purpose.
BE IT FURTI-�ER RESOLVED that any property owners shall have
the right to have any such nuisance removed. and abated. at his own
expense, provided. �uch work is done prior �o �he time the work is
done by the Superintendent of Streets. If the work i5 done by the
property o,wner, n�o charge shall be made by the City of Lynwood.
