RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
UNINCORP�RATED TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES LYING ON THE WEST SIDE OF ALAMEDA STREET
BETWEEN �'HE WESTERLY PROLONGATION OF CENTURY
BOULEVARD AND lO8TH STREET (ALAMEDA ANNEXATION
No. 5).
WHEREAS, the City Council of' the City of' Lynwood did by
Resolution No 6407 ad.opted on the 4th d.ay of February Zg64 duly
give notice of and fixed the 3rd day of March, 1964, at the hour of
7:30 p,m, in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 11330 Bullis
Road, Lynwood, California, as the day, hour and place when and where
any person owning real property within the city who does not also
own proper�y in the terri�ory �o be annexed and having any objec�ions
�o the proposed annexation mighc appear bef'ore said City Council and
show cause why such �erritory should not be so annexed, and.
WHEREAS, said Resolution No 6�+=7 w�s published in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of Lynwood, and.
WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the da.y, hour and
place and in the manner as set forth in said Resolution No 64-7 and.
WHEREAS, no person owning real property within the city who does
not also own proper�y in the territory to be annexed. appeared before
the City Council to show cause why such territory should. not be so
annexed,
NOW, THER�FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as f'ollows:
Section l. That the City Council does hereby approve said.
proposed annexation of the unincorporated territory of the County of
Los Angeles lying on the west side of Alamed.a Street between the

westerly prolongation of Century Boulevard and 108th Street, known
as "Alameda S Annexation No, 5," and more particularly described.
