RESOLUTION OF INTENTIOTI TO°ABATE DRY AND DRYING
WEEDS OPd CERTAIN PARCEIS OF LAND IPd THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD
' WHEREAS, Cha.pter 13 of the Government Code, cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement", provides for a.batement of dry a.nd
drying weeds that constitute a. public nuisance, and
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Couneil o£ the City of Lynwood by the Superintendent of
Streets that there exists a public nuisa,nee on certain pa.rcels of
land in the City of Lgnwood, a,s hereinafter more pa,rticula,rly
described,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of ,
the City of Lynwood a.s follows:
1. Tha,t a. public nuisance exists upon the parcels of
land, lots, or portions of lots set forth below:

2, The Superintendent of Streets is hereby directed to
ca,use sa,id notices to be posted in the time, £orm, a,nd manner required
by law.
3. That the proceedings for aforesaid work sha.11 be taken
under an Act of the Legisla,ture of the State o£ California designa.ted
as the Government Code, Cha.pter 13, Sections 39501 et seq., cited as
"Weed and Rubbish Abatement", and amendments thereto.
4. Notice is hereby given that on Tuesda.y, the 6th day of
April 1g65 a.t the hour of 7:30 p.m., in the Council Chambers, City
Ha.11, 11330 Bullis Road, in the City of Lynwood, any and a,ll persons
having any objections or protests to sa.id proposed work ma.y a.ppear
before said City Council and show ca.use why sa,id proposed work should
not be carried out in accordance with said Act.
