SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Five month hangar rental allows Airport Snow Removal Equipment to be stored in a dry, heated, and secure
location. City Auditors, following FAA audit guidance, expect that equipment purchased with FAA Al?
funding will be stored in a secured facility. This is a short term solution, and is affordable for this winter.
The Airport will additionally pay for propane and electricity. The hangar has a programmable thermostat
making it possible to reduce propane use. Mr. Merrill now lives in Montana and will not need the hangar
this winter. There are several other hangars for rent, this is an aviation use, and does not deprive any
airplanes from hangar use.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Lease from Merrill to City of McCall — Airport and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
