A RESOLUTION OF' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWO�D DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER
STREET LIGHTING SERVICE ON CERTAIN STREETS
IN THE CTTY OF LYN4d00D FOR A PERIOD BEGINNING
JULY l, 196�+ AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1967
The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
resolve as follows:
Section 1. That 'che public interest and convenience
require, and it is the intention of the City Council af the Cit�
of Lynwood to order the furnishing of the service necessary to
maintain and illumin�.te by means of electrical energy the street
lighting system made up of 2, 500 lumen, �I-, 000 lumen, 6, 000 lumen,
10, 000 lumen, and 20„ 000 lumen la.mps, and the 2, 500 lumen, 10, 000
lumen, and 20,000 lurnen lamps on ornamental standards in certain
streets in the City of Lynwood within the district described in
Section 2 hereof and to be known as "Lighting Maintenance District
No. 19 of the City of Lynwood". Reference is hereby made to Plan
No 196�+-A and Specifications No 196�+-A on file in the office of
the Ci.ty Clerk of' said City.
Section 2 . That the exterior boundary of the district
to be benefited ther�from and to be assessed to pay the costs and
expenses thereof to be known as said assessment district is described
as follows:
Those prpperties lying within the followingc�scribed
exterior boundary line, to wits
Beginning at the most southerly corner of Lot 27 of
Modjeska Acres as per map recorded in Book 10, Page 33 of' Niaps,
Records of Los Angeles County, California, said point of beginning
being on the westerl� boundary line of the City of Lynwood as said
boundary line existe�l Feb. 2�- 1.g6� thence northwesterly along
said boundary line ai�d f'ollowing the same in all its various cour�es
to the westerly line of the westerly roadway of Alameda Street;
thence northerly along said last described line to a concave curve
to the SW radius equ�.ls 370 feet thence S 82 26'W 106�-.10 feet to
the e�.sterly line of the easterly roadway of Mona BouleYard, �0 ft.
wide, said point bei#zg on the aforementioned boundary line of' the
City of Lynwood; thence northerly along said boundary line and
following the same in all its various courses to its intersection
with the northerly prolongation of the easterly line of Lat 8,
Tract 10587, as shown on map recorded in Baok 162, Pages 27 and 28
of Maps, Records of' said County; thence southerly along said last
described line to a point on the aforementioned bounclary line of the
City of Lynwood; thence westerly along said boundary line and fQllowing
the same in all its Various courses to the northeasterly corner of
Century Boulevard and Wright RQad, 50 feet wide; thence northerly along
the easterly 73ne of Wright Road 295.�F0 feet; thence south 80 36� 35

of Century Boulevard �j0 feet wide; thence southerly to a point on the
southerly line of Century Boulevard distant thereon 208.00 feet west-

All properties owned by the City of Lynwood, Lynwood
Unified School District, and Federal Government are hereby specifi-
cally exempted f'rom this assessment.
Section �, That the said contemplated improvement sha11
be for a period of tl�ree (3) years, commencing July l, 1.96�+ and be
had and taken under the provi�ions oi' Division 1�4, Part I of the
Streets and Highways �ode, cited as the "Street �ighting Act af 19�.9
and amendments thereto'
