SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The Board of County Commissioners formally entered into a Professional Service Agreement between
Valley County and Russell Surveying to perform the County Survey duties. As part of the agreement,
Russell Surveying is billing the cities directly for work completed within the planning jurisdictions.
In order to cover this new expense, the attached Resolution 10-20 is a new fee for the County Surveyor
review and sign off of new subdivision plats within the City and Impact Area. The new proposed fee is flat
fee of $500 based on historical billing information.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
1. Conduct the public hearing.
2. Approve Resolution 10-20 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents.
