RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD G NING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEXATION
OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE UNINCORPORATED
TERRITORY OF THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES LYING
NORTHERLY OF CENTURY BOULEVARD AND.EASTERLY.OF ;,�,
� ALAMEDA STREET (ALAMEDA STREET ANNEXATION N0. 7).
WHEREI�S, pursuant to the "Annexation of Uninhabited Terri-
tory Act of lg3g as amended, there has been presented to the City
� Council of tYie City of Lynwood, Cali£ornia, a petition dated February 16;
�965 eYecuted by J. F. Watkins, Secretary, Earle M. Jorgensen Company,
' requesting the annexation of certain property lying northerly of
Century Boulevard and easterly of Alameda Street, in the County of
Los Angeles,' State of California, and lying within the following des-
cribed boundaries:
Beginning at the intersection of the westerly line
of Alameda Street, 50 feet wide, as said street is
shown on map of Traet No. 6717, recorded in Book 106,
' Pages 1 to 4 of Maps, in the office of the Recorder
of the Count,y of Los Angeles, with the City of Lynwood
Boundary, said boundary existing November 24 1g64
thenee, northerly along said westerly line to the
intersection of the westerl� prolongation of the
southerly line o£ Seminole Avenue, 60 feet wide as
shown on said map; thence easterly along said prolon-
gation and southerly line to the westerly line of
, Santa Fe Avenue, (formerly Bullis Street) 60 feet
wide, as shown on said map; thence southerly along
� said last mentioned westerly line to t17e intersection
of the City of Lynwood Boundary, said boundary
existing November 24 1g65 thence westerly along '

said boundary and following,the same in all its
various courses to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, said petition is °igned by the owners of all land
- in such territory and representing all of the assessed value of such
territory according to the last preceding equalized assessment roll
of the County of Los Angeles, State of California, in which such
" ' territory is situated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT �ESOLVED:
; Section 1. That pursuant to �the "Anne�ation of Uriinhal�ited
Territor� Act of 1939," as amended, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood hereby gives notice of said propoeed anneaation.
' Section 2 . Said territory is hereby designated for identi-
, fication as "Alameda Street Annexation No. 7."
, • Section 3 . Said City Council hereby gives notice of an

copy of this resolution to be published once prior to said hearing, in
the Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and

Section 5 . The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
