A RESOLUTION OF THE CIT"�' COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOpD ORDERING THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
EDISON CpMPANY TO FURNISH THE SERVICE NECES-
SARY TO T�IAINTAIN AND/OR ILLUMINATE .ALL STREET
LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD,
WHEREAS, theCity Council of the City of' Lynwood,
California did, on the 7th day of April, 1964, adopt Resolution No.
64-23 ordering the work and :levying the assessment f'or service
necessary to maintain and/or illuminate all streets lights in the
City of Lynwood, and
WI�REAS� it is determined that there is only one contractor
practically capable of ser�ricing said lighting maintenance district
as described. in said Resolution of Intention No 64-16 of said city,
and.
WHEREAS, said contractor is subject to the jurisdiction
of' the Public Utilities Commission of the State of Calif'ornia, now
�herefore, be it
R.�SOLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood as
follows:
l. That the City Council d.oes hereby order said improve-
ment to be carried out by Southern Calif'ornia Edison Company, a
corporation, in accor�ance with rates and rules filed by them f'rom
time to time with said Public Utilities Commission.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of Apri1,,1964�
