RESOLUTION N0. 65-20
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE UN-
INCORPORA�ED TERRITORY OF Ti� COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES LYING NORTHERLY OF CENTURY BOULEVARD
AND EASTERLY OF ALAMEDA STREET (ALAMEDA STREET
ANNEXATION N0. 7). .
WI-IEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did, by
Resolution No. 65-17 adopted on the 2nd day of March 1g65 duly
give notice and fix the 16th day of March Zg65 at the hour of 7:30
p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 113j0 Bullis Road,
Lynwood, California, as the day, hour and place when and where any
persoi�s owning real property within the city, who does not also own
property in the territory to be annexed, and having any objections
to the proposed annexation, might appear before said City Council
and show cause why such territory should not be annexed, and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 65-17 was published in the
Lynwood Press; a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of Lynwood, and
WI-IEREAS, said public hearing was held at the day, hour and
place and in the manner as set forth in said Resolution No. 65-17, and
WHEREAS, no person owning real property within the city who
does not also own property in the territory to be annexed, appeared
before the City Council to show cause why such territory should not
be so annexed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows;
Section l . That the City Council does hereb,y approve of
said proposed annexation of the unincorporated territory in the County
of Los Angeles lying northerly of Century Boulevard and easterly of

Alameda Street in the County of Los Angeles, State of California,
known as "Alameda Street Annexation No. 7," and more particularly
described in said Resolution No. 65-17.
