A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD QVERRULING PROTESTS, ORDERING T.E� WORK
AND LEVY�NG T� PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR SERVICE
NECESSAR� TO MAINTAIN AND ILLUMINATE ALL STREE T
LIGHTS IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD.
BE IT RE�OLVED by the City Council of the City of Lynwood
as follows;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of' Lynwood, California,
did on the 3rd day of March 1g64 adopt Resoltuion No. 64-17, fixing
the time and place for a hearing in the matter of lighting maintenance
district No. 19, ar�d to Plans and Specification No 1964-A of the
City of Lynwood, arad
WHEREAS, all interested persons were given full opportunity
to present their protests or objections, and.
WHEREAS, evidence has been received as to the publication
and posting of notice of said hearing in the time, form, and manner
required. by law,
NOW, THEI�EFORE, the said. City Council, after due consid.era-
tion of all such objections and protests, does hereby overrule and.
deny any such protests and objections and each of them to the work or
improvement to be done within said Street Lighting Maintenance District
as described in Resolution of Intention No 64-�6 of said city and to
the proposed asses�ment therefor; and does hereby confirm and adopt
as a whole, unmodi�'ied, the assessment and report as described in
said Resolu�ion of Intention No 64-16 and.
BE IT FIJl�THER RESOLVED, that the public interest and con-
venience demands ar�d requires and this City Council d.oes hereby order
the said contemplated improvement to be made in �tccordance with the
plans and specifications therefor, adopted and. approved, and the City
Council does hereby levy the �aid proposed. assessment made to cover
the costs and exp��nses of said improvement upon the respective sub-
divisions of' land in said district and as fixed. by the proposed report

and assessment heretof ore filed in �e off ice of the City Clerk, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk of the City of
Lynwood is hereby ordered to transmit to the County of Los Angeles
tax collector the aiagram and assessment upon which such levy is
based, and said county tax collector is hereby authorized and.
directed to make collections of all such assessments, and. to perform
all the acts and duties as are required of said. act to be performed
by the persons designated as "Tax Collector" in Chapter 6 of the
Street Lighting Act of Zgl9 as amended.
