The total amount requested was $199,800 and the retrofits and building audits were funded for a total grant award of $132,500. Retrofits ($65,000) for McCall City buildings include new lighting in Public Works, Annex, Airport/Recreation, City Hall and Police Department. The retrofits also include a new roof with insulation and a new HVAC system for City Hall/Police Department. As part of the energy audit, an extensive lighting audit was completed for the four building mentioned above. The audit separated out the lighting needs for each building. Staff separated the project into 3 separate projects to meet the funding deadline and accommodate already scheduled remodel: Project #1: City Hall, Police Department, and Legion Hall (216 E. Park Street) Project #2: McCall Public Works (815 N. Samson Trail) Project #3: Airport and Recreation Office and Annex (336 Deinhard Lane and 300 E. Park Street) Rogers Electric and All American Electric bid on all three lighting projects. All American Electric was the low bidder for Project #2 ($7,776.64). RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the lighting retrofit contract for Project #2 ($7, 776.64) to All American Electric and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary documents. RECORD OF COUNCIL ACTION MEETING DATE ACTION November 19, 2009 Council authorized staff to develop an EECBG application and work with the City of Donnelly to determine feasibility of a joint partnership for the grant application. March 11, 2010 City Council accepts the grant award.
