A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF �
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE REPORT OF THE CITY ENGINEER
AND AUTHORIZING THE LEVYING OF TfiE ASSESSMENT
SYSTEM ON A PORTION OF LONG EEACH BOULEVARD IN
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD FOR THE 1965-66 FISCAL YEAR.
WIIEREAS, theCity Engineer of the City of Lynwood did, on
the llth da,y of Ma,rch 1965 file with the�City Clerk a.s directed
by Resolution No. 65-16 of the City Council of the City of Lynwood,
a report setting forth the costs and expenses for the modification
of the street lighting system on a. portion of Long Beach Boulevard
in the City of Lynwood for the twelve month period commencing
July l, 1965 together with the assessment dia.gram a.nd a.ssessment
roll. Said written report was ma.de pursua.nt to the provisions of
Seetion 18090 and 18091 of Chapter 6, Division 15, Part I, of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California;
NOW, THEREFORE, SE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood a.s follows:
Section l. Tha.t sa.id report, diagram, and assessment
roll, unmodified, is hereby a.pproved and a.dopted.
Section 2, That the levying of the assessment as proposed
in said report is hereby authorized and approved.
Section 3. ' That the City Clerk of the City o£ Lynwood is
hereby directed to transmit to the County of Los Angeles Tax Collector
the dia.gram and assessment roll upon which sa.id levy is ba,sed, and
said County Ta.x Collector is hereby authorized and directed to make
collections of all such a.ssessments a,nd to perform a.11 of the a.cts
and duties as a.re required by said a,ct to be performed by the persons
designated a,s "Tax Collector" inChapter 6, Di vision 14, Pa,rt I, of
the Streets and Highwa.ys Code of the Sta.te of California.
