RESOLUTION N0. 65-30
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD WITIIDRAWING CERTAIN AREAS OF LAND ANNEXED
TO SAID CITY FROM THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY,
WI the CiL,y of Lynwood has completed the annexation
of certain land, as hereinafter described, to eaid Cit,y of Lynwood,
and
WHEREAS, said City of Lynwood does provide fire protection
to said area of land, and
tr1HEREAS, the State of California Health and Safety Code,
Division 12, Part 3, Chapter 2, Article 11, provides that whenever
any portion of a fire protection district is included within a city
by reason of annexation, such portion may be withdrawn £rom the
district,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cit� Council of the
City of Lynwood that the following described areas of land be and
the same are hereby declared withdrawn from said Consolidated Fire
Protection District of Los Angeles County:

Beginning at a point at a northwesterly corner of the
Lynwood City boundary, as said boundary existed May 29,
1g64 said point being the northeasterly corner of Lot
9, Block A, Watts Park Tract, as shown on map recorded
in Book 8, Page 70, of Maps in the office of the Recorder
of Los Angeles County, State of California; thence North
83 West along the northerly boundary of said tract
a distance of i28.7o feet to the northwesterly corner
of Lot 13 of said block and tract; thence South 7
East along the westerly line of said Lot 13 a distance

of 153.00 feet to the northerly line of 107th
Place, 40 feet wide, shown as First Street on
said map; thence North 87 ° 35�� East along said
northerly line to the southeasterly corner of
Lot 9 of said block and tract, said point being
at a southwesterly corner of said Lynwood City
boundary; thence North 7 West along said
Lynwood City boundary to the point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed I
and ordered to £ile copies of this resolution with the State Board
of Equalization, County Board of Supervisors, County Clerk, and
County Assessor.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of April 1965.
