RESOLUTION N0. 65-36
. RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD OVERRULING PROTESTS TO THE PROPOSED
ANNEXATION OF THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY IN THE
UIQINCORPORATED TERRITORY OF THE COUN,TY OF LOS
ANGELES LYING NORTHERLY OF THE EXISTING CITY
BOUNDARY ON EL GRANADA AVENUE ( EL GRANADA
ANNEXATION N0. 1).
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood, by
Resolution No. 65-21, adopted on.the 16th day o£ March, 19.65 duly
gave notice of and fixed the 4th day of May,. 1965, at the hour of
7�30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Cit,y Hall 1133o Bullis
Road, Lynwood, Calif'ornia, as the day, hour and place when and where
any person owning real pioperty within such territory so proposed to
be annexed and having any objections to the proposed annexation might
appear be,fore said City Council and show cause why such territory
should' not be so annexed, and
_ WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 65-21 was published in the
Lynwood Press, a newspaper of general circulation, printed and pub-
lished in the City of Lynwood, and also in the Herald American, a
newspa�er. of general circulation published outside the City of Lynwood
but in the county in which is located.the territory proposed to be
annexed, and
_ WHEREAS, said public hearing was held at the day, hour and
place, and in the manner set forth in said Resolution No. 65-21 and
WHEREAS, no person owning real property within such terri-
tory so proposed to be annexed appeared before the City Council to
show cause why such territory should not be so annexed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as foliows:
Section 1. That the City Council does hereby approve said

proposed annexation of the, unincorporated territory of the County
of Los Angeles lying northerly of the existing City boundary on
El granada Avenue, knovan as "El Granada Avenue Annexation No.. 1," �
and more`particularly described in saia Resolution IJo. 65-21.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of May, 1965. ,
