SUMMARY STATEMENT:
Engineering and Architectural services are required to create a proper set of plans for bidding on the Snow
Removal Equipment Storage building for the McCall Municipal Airport. These services have been
solicited through a process that has been approved by FAA. The cost as been negotiated with the parties
and seems reasonable as compared to other similar projects of this size and scope. The City will be
reimbursed for 95% of the cost from an Airport Improvement Program, AIP Grant. It is anticipated that
this will qualify for a 2.5% grant match from the State of Idaho Division of Aeronautics. Staff has
decreased the professional services fees by doing most of the work to bring the project through Design
Development and most of the work to present the project for the Design Review Hearing held on February
8, 2011. FAA has verbally approved the scope of work and the fees for the contract.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve Professional Services Agreement for AIP-20 and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
