SUMMARY STATEMENT:
On February 10, 2011 The McCall City Council approved the Settlement Agreement with the Payette
Lakes Recreational Water & Sewer District. The Technical Advisory Group met on February 9 and
February 17, 2011 to discuss the selection of the Independent Advisor. The Technical Advisory Group
evaluated six (6) individuals. After much discussion, the Technical Advisory Group selected Gary Young
of Twin Falls, Idaho. Gary Young served as Public Works Director for the City of Twin Falls for over
twenty years. He currently serves on the Idaho Board of Professional Engineers & Surveyors.
The cost for his services will be $75 per day plus expenses. In addition, Mr. Young will be required to
obtain E & O insurance which the City will reimburse. At this time, those costs are anticipated not to
exceed $5,000. A more refined estimate of the E&O insurance costs will be available prior to the meeting
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the Consulting Agreement with Gary Young and authorize the Mayor the sign all necessary
documents.
