HomeMy Public PortalAbout2000-019 Resolution Granting Preliminary Plat Approval to Steven Ruchti41 Member Carolyn Smith introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO.00-19 RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL TO STEVEN RUCHTI WHEREAS, Steven Ruchti (the "Applicant") is the fee owner of property located at 1252 Deer Hill Road; and WHEREAS, the Applicant intends to plat his property to combine two lots into one; and WHEREAS, this matter was reviewed by the planning commission at its meeting on May 9, 2000 and by the city council at its meeting on May 16, 2000; and WHEREAS, the plat has been given preliminary review by the city council for its compliance with the ordinances and requirements of the city. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of the city of Medina, Minnesota, that preliminary plat approval is hereby granted to the Applicant for the plat of his property, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. The final plat must dedicate the standard drainage and utility easements along all property lines; 2. The Applicant must provide title evidence to the satisfaction of the city attorney; 3. The Applicant must pay to the city an administrative fee in an amount necessary to reimburse the city for the cost of reviewing this application; 4. The parties recognize that there are two accessory structures on the property which do not meet rear yard setback requirements and are, therefore, non -conforming and may also be located within the drainage and utility easement to be dedicated on the plat; and 5. The Applicant must submit the final plat for approval to the zoning administrator RHB-180618v 1 ME230-309 00-19 05-16-00 42 within 180 days of the date of this resolution or the approval hereby granted shall be null and void. The final plat must be in compliance with the terms and conditions of the preliminary plat approval and of the ordinances and requirements of the city.
