Police department Public Works Golf Course Parks and Recreation COST IMPACT: FY11 $18,325 and budget $6,545 for FY12 (Total cost of project:$24, 870) Airport FUNDING SOURCE: 10-41-150-325 Economic Development Support Library Information Systems TIMELINE: Project timeline: now — December 2011 Grant Coordinator Mayor / Council SUMMARY STATEMENT: On the March 10, 2011 City Council meeting, the Community Development Director and Parks and Recreation Director explained to the City Council the Pathway Master Plan Project and requested funding to hire consultants to perform certain tasks related to the Project. The City Council agreed to Option #1 to fund the hiring of consultants according to the project proposal and cost estimates provided by Harmony Design and Engineering. This firm held the public charretttes for the McCall Business Park Planning and Design Charrette and developed the final report that was adopted by City Council. The firm's high level of experience and expertise make them the ideal consultant for the McCall Area Pathway Master Plan. Attached is the contract that outlines the scope of services and cost. The contract is a not to exceed the amount of $24, 870 although the project will span over two fiscal years. The cost to the FY11 budget is $18,325 and $6,545 will need to be budgeted for FY12. The attorney is currently reviewing the contract. RECOMMENDED ACTION: Approve the contract with Harmony Design and Engineering.
