RESOLUTION NO. 16-9134
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA, REQUIRING THE CITY
MANAGER TO NOTIFY THE CITY COMMISSION OF ANY
TRANSFERS OF FUNDS FROM STATE, COUNTY,
FEDERAL OR ENTERPRISE RESTRICTED ACCOUNTS
PRIOR TO THE TRANSFERS BEING MADE; PROVIDING
FOR INCORPORATION OF RECITALS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, The City Commission responsible for financial welfare of the
City; and
WHEREAS, Transfers funds have been made from restricted State, County,
Federal or Enterprise Accounts with limited or no knowledge of the City
Commission; and
WHEREAS, Such transfers may impede the financial well being of the City.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF OPA-LOCKA, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals to the preamble herein are incorporated by reference;
Section 2. The City Manager is hereby required to notify the City
Commission of any transfer of funds from State, County, Federal or
Enterprise Restricted Accounts prior to the transfer being made.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
