SUMMARY STATEMENT:
The attached is a revised Industrial User Agreement between the City of McCall and the US Forest Service
will allow the USFS to discharge washdown water from the Air Tanker base into the City's wastewater
system, as allowed by MCC 6-3-080. The Council discussed this item during a work session on March 26,
2010 and reviewed a draft agreement on April 22, 2010 and subsequently after negotiation between the
USFS and the City of McCall approved the agreement.
The changes requested by the USFS are as follows:
• Section C.3 — Washdown water shall be discharged from June through October instead of May
through September.
• Section C.4 — The Forest Service will submit annual monitoring results by November 30 of each
instead of February 10.
• Section E.2 — Deleted as this has been paid by the USFS.
• The last change is to revise the signatory for the USFS. It is now Michael R. Williams instead of
Suzanne Rainville. Mr. Williams is Acting Forest Supervisor
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Approve the revised Industrial User Agreement with the USFS and authorize the Mayor to sign all
necessary documents.
