SUMMARY STATEMENT:
During the process of compiling all the City's fees into the Comprehensive Fee Schedule, it was
discovered that the Library Fees for copies need to be clarified. Generally when a fee is adopted, the fee
does not include tax. However, at the Library, due to the programming of the copy machine that accepts
coins to operate, all fees charged for copies include the 6% tax. The attached resolution clarifies the
charge for the copy and the charge for the tax.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Resolution 11-10 establishing Library copy fees and authorize the Mayor to sign all necessary
documents.
