Member Hamilton introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.00-25
RESOLUTION APPROVING FEASIBILITY REPORT,
ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND SETTING HEARINGS FOR HOLY
NAME DRIVE/LAKEVIEW ROAD SANITARY SEWER
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, it is proposed to extend sanitary sewer from near the intersection of Co. Rd.
24 and Holy Name Drive northwest along Holy Name Drive and west along Lakeview Road to
serve up to 19 residential lots and to assess the benefited properties for all or a part of the cost of the
improvement, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to a resolution adopted by the city council on March 6, 2000, a
feasibility report has been prepared by Bonestroo Rosene Anderlik & Associates with reference to
the Holy Name Drive/Lakeview Road sanitary sewer improvement project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina,
Minnesota as follows:
1. The city council hereby accepts the feasibility report prepared by the city engineer
with the gravity line option for the sanitary sewer improvement project and will consider
construction of the improvement and the assessment of benefited properties for all or a portion of
the cost thereof, which cost is estimated to be $420,000.
2. The city engineer is hereby authorized and directed to prepare plans and
specifications for the making of said improvement and to return the plans and specifications to the
city council at its earliest convenience.

3. A public hearing shall be held on making such improvement and assessing the cost
thereof on July 18, 2000, in the council chambers at city hall beginning at 7:30 p.m. The
Administrator -Clerk -Treasurer shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and
improvement as required by law.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Zietlow and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Hamilton, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
