SUMMARY STATEMENT:
McCall City Code §1-8-2 states that regular Council meetings will be held on the second and fourth
Thursdays of each a month except when such regular meetings fall on a legal holiday, then the meetings
would be held on the preceding day unless otherwise fixed by the Council.
The past two years the Council has elected to alter the regular Council meetings for the months of
October, November, and December to be held on the first and third Thursday of each month to
accommodate the holidays. For 2011 those dates are October 6 & 20, November 3 & 17, and December 1
& 15. With the altered regular meeting, the Friday work sessions will be held after the second meeting of
each month. This schedule maintains a regular Council meeting every other Thursday; however, as in the
past two years, it will cause a four week gap between the last meeting in December and the first meeting
in January. This four week gap has not created any issues in previous years.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Change the Council Regular Meeting Schedule for the months of October, November, and December
2011 to the first and third Thursday of each month.
