REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
JANUARY 21, 2003
1. CALL TO ORDER
Chairman Gillanders called the Community Redevelopment Agency Meeting to order at 7:35
p.m.

ALSO PRESENT: Executive Director Cole, Agency Counsel Martin, Assistant Executive

5. CONSENT CALENDAR
Mr. Souder moved to approve the Consent Calendar, seconded by Mrs. Wilson and
unanimously carried.
A. APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Approved the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 7, 2003, as presented.
B. SECOND QUARTER BUDGET AMENDMENT
Approved the second quarter budget amendment and amended the adopted budget
accordingly.
C. SECOND QUARTER TREASURER'S REPORT, REVENUE AND EXPENDITURE
SUMMARY REPORTS
Received and filed the December 2002 Treasurer's Report and Second Quarter
Revenue and Expenditure Reports.
D. 2001 -2002 AGENCY AUDIT REPORTS
Received and filed the 2001 -2002 Temple City Community Redevelopment Agency
Audit Report completed by the firm of Conrad & Associates.
E. ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION NO. CRA 03 -793 — APPROVAL OF PAYMENT OF
BILLS
Adopted Resolution No. CRA 03 -793, a RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY ALLOWING CLAIMS AND DEMANDS IN
THE SUM OF $1,035.00 DEMAND NO. 3081.

RECESS /RECONVENE
The Community Redevelopment Agency recessed at 7:36 p.m. and reconvened at 7:41 p.m.
with all Agency Members present.
10. CLOSED SESSION
At 7:41 p.m., the Agency recessed to closed session for the purposes stated below.
Purpose: Potential Litigation — Special Housing Rehabilitation Grant
(4826 Kauffman)

RECONVENE
The Agency meeting reconvened at 7:56 p.m. with all Agency Members present.
CLOSED SESSION STATEMENT
Executive Director Cole stated, in regard to the first closed session item, the Agency directed
the Executive Director to deny the request of the attorney of the heirs of 4826 Kauffman
Avenue.
Regarding the second closed session item, Executive Director Cole stated the Agency
increase by $5,000 for an amount up to $30,000 to complete appraisals at the 9021 Las
Tunas Drive property site to be appropriated from the Agency as a loan from the City's
General Fund.
11. ADJOURNMENT
The Community Redevelopment Agency meeting adjourned at 7:57 p.m.
