Attached is the proposed FY12 budget of $15,159,213 which includes the growth and annexation property tax amounts from the County Clerk, the 3% property tax increase, and the available forgone amount. Attached is the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) developed this year as part of the budget development process. Should the Council decide to take the 3% property tax increase and the available foregone amount, staff is recommending these amounts be applied to the identified capital projects included on the CIP. The CIP identifies necessary capital improvements and capital projects as well as outlines the funding sources for these projects. Should the Council decide not to take the 3% property tax increase and/or the available foregone amount, the CIP also identifies the projects that will be affected or cut by a decrease in these revenue sources. The recommended FY12 Local Option Tax (LOT) funding from the LOT Commission including the funding adjustments as recommended by the Council on July 22, 2011 is also attached.
