Member Zietlow introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO.00-29
RESOLUTION ORDERING WILLOW DRIVE
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, by action of the city council, a hearing was scheduled for July 5, 2000 on the
proposed improvement of Willow Drive from Co. Rd. 24 to Hamel Road by paving a 24' wide
bituminous surface and constructing a 6 — 8' gravel shoulder on the west side and a 2 — 4' gravel
shoulder on the east side; and
WHEREAS, 10 days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was
given and said hearing was held on July 5, 2000, at which time all persons desiring to be heard were
given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of Medina, Minnesota, as
follows:
1. The improvement of Willow Drive as described above is hereby ordered.
2. The improvement shall be constructed with day labor upon the plans and
specifications previously prepared by city staff.
3. It is the judgment of the city council that the improvement of Willow Drive has no
relationship to the city's comprehensive plan.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by member Smith and
upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
Ferris, Johnson, Smith, and Zietlow
and the following voted against same: Hamilton
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
